It was Northcott’s turn today, to show off their learning to parents and the rest of the school, during their class assembly. Starting off with some story-telling, the children took it in turn to share their own versions of Tom the Giant – a cornish myth and explain how they had been using expanded noun phrases to really grow their writing skills.
They have also enjoyed some fantastic practical science, discovering the layers that make up the earth; making mobiles and clay replica earths.
We were then treated to some Spanish; teaching us how to count up to twelve and how to say the months of the year. What a jam packed assembly! Well done Northcott!
